Guidelines for Preconference Course

--> Only IPS members and registered delegates of 51th IPS national conference can submit abstracts and apply for the Pre-Conference Course.

--> Delegates are allowed to submit or be part of only one Pre-Conference course. They cannot be the chief mentor and or co-authors for more than one presentation.

--> The course should as far as possible be aligned to the conference theme: Blending- Skill, Precision & Perfection.

--> The Preconference courses are scheduled on the 7th December 2023 at International Convention centre, Goa Dental College and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium.

--> Structured abstract and Pre-Conference details should be submitted under one of the following categories:

  1. o Removable Prosthodontics
  2. o Fixed Prosthodontics
  3. o Implantology
  4. o Maxillofacial Prosthodontics
  5. o Esthetic Prosthodontics
  6. o Full mouth Rehabilitation
  7. o Digital Dentistry and Prosthodontics
  8. o 3D Printing in Prosthodontics
  9. o Occlusion
  10. o Temporomandibular Disorders and Prosthetic Management
  11. o Sleep Medicine and Prosthodontic Management
  12. o Practice management in Prosthodontics

--> Pre-conference course must include a mandatory hands-on / demonstration activity.

--> Preference will be given to Pre-Conference courses that have not been conducted at any other recent state, national, or international scientific meetings.

--> The course conductors should specify whether any soft copy of course materials will be provided to the participants.

--> The course coordinator or the co mentors are requested to arrange for the required materials and infra structure support on their own and the conference organizing committee is not liable to arrange for any material support. COC will provide only a hall with audio visual facilities.

--> The organizing committee is not responsible for registering the participants for the preconference course.

SUBMISSION AND UPLOADING OF ABSTRACT

--> Non- structured abstract should not exceed 250 words. (Preferable it should include relevant details like -Background, Aim, Objective, important concepts and topics to be covered).

--> Abstracts with plagiarism will not be accepted and can lead to course rejection.

--> Abstract are to be submitted online only. No abstract shall be accepted as e-mail, fax, hard copies etc.

--> The last date of submission and uploading of abstracts is 15th September 2023.

--> The list of selected Pre-Conference course will be displayed on the website by 1st October 2023.

--> The scientific committee reserves the right not to consider the Pre-Conference course that does not comply with the specifications.

--> Course coordinators and co-mentors will ensure that all preparations and arrangements are in place well in advance, and should have completed the preview process before the commencement of the session.

--> The decision of the organizing committee is final and binding in all situations.
